T200 Dual Sim TV Phone – Has a 5.0 Mega Pixel Digital Camera With Telephoto Zoom Lens

Not any more than a year ago, having a built in TV on an unlocked, dual sim phone was a pretty big deal. Today, that is no longer true. Analog television is almost a standard feature on many knock off phones.

Another feature that is evolving on the clones is the built in digital camera. When the clones first came out, many got by on a 1.3 mega pixel camera. Eventually, a 3.0 mega pixel and web cam became the gold standard. Today, there are a few models with 5.0 mega pixels, 3 X zoom (with protruding telephoto lens) and advanced editing features. Some even have dual cameras, with a lower MP camera on the front and a zooming, very high quality camera on the back.

The new T200 mobile phone is a perfect example of this. This one is dual sim and works on GSM-900 and GSM-1800 bands which are often used in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. It is loaded with features like web browsing, WAP , GPRS ,MP3/ MP4, standby dual sim slots, an e-book reader, built in television, FM radio, and Bluetooth. Although the TV has good reception, a clear picture, and is a cool feature, the real stand out on this phone is it’s absolutely phenomenal dual cameras. There is a 5.0 mega pixel digital camera on the back that has a 3 X optical zoom with electronic protruding telephoto lens (as well as webcam). The front of the phone has your standard low MP camera phone, but this will work in a pinch.

As a parent, I really value this camera because it means even if I’m taking photos or video for which I really care about the quality and clarity, I don’t need to bring my regular camera. The camera on this phone is every bit as good as my regular, stand alone model.

Also often overlooked on this phone is its texting, messaging ease of use. It has a full keyboard and scroll bar with real, raised keys (as opposed to texting on a touch screen which many people just don’t like.) The keys are firm, but fast.

Price wise, the T200 mobile phone is running in the upper $100 dollar range. I feel this is very reasonable as the camera alone is worth that price, not to mention the MP3/ MP4 player, built in TV, and other features.

CECT T32 Mobile Phone – WiFi, GPS And Windows Mobile 6.0 Are Added To This Newest IPhone Clone

For the longest time, I’ve honestly felt that the Chinese iPhone clones have included every major feature from the original and then some. But, when the Nokia N95 became almost as popular as the iPhone, we were all waiting with baited breath for its clone. That’s because the Nokia N95 has WiFi and GPS. We were hoping that one day these features would become standard in the clones. We already knew that CECT could pull off Windows Mobile because the current HiTune T68 includes it.

However, when the CECT N95 finally rolled out, it was a great phone full of great features and innovative design. In fact, everything was included – except WiFi and GPS. Although we understood that pricing kept some additions out, and we felt the phone was still a contender without them, we were still a touch disappointed.

Finally, though, there’s reason to celebrate. The HiPhone T32 (the very latest version, and sometimes also called The Daxian X999) has finally included all three of these things as standard.

Of course, as always with the HiPhone you can: surf the web; email and text (WAP browsing, MMS and SMS messaging); take photos and video on the digital camera and video cam; enjoy Bluetooth; listen to and watch MP3s and MP4s; and use Java.

The one standard feature this one doesn’t have is dual sim slots. However, it has improved the 2.0 mega pixel camera and added an e-book reader.

With the Windows additions like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as tons more third party software available, this phone has evolved into a little productivity powerhouse. And, in my testing, these additions do not slow the performance of the phone any. It is still zippy and intuitive. After all, it has an expandable memory of up to 2GB to work with.

Of course, we were bracing ourselves for the price. Current comparable clones without these new additions average around $150. So where does that leave this new version? Currently, it’s between the low and upper $300s, depending on where you get it.

This price may fall as more become available, but I suspect that even with this price tag, these will fly off shelves because: the additions are too valuable to pass up; they were long desired; and they really do add so many more possibilities and applications to this phone. So, welcome to the party, T32. It’s about time.

Nokia N99i TV Phone – A Dual Sim, Texting IPhone Clone With Analog TV and a 3.0 Mega Pixel Camera

There’s very little debate that the iPhone clones are popular because they offer all of the features made popular by Apple at a fraction of the price. These little knock offs are always unlocked, allowing you to use which ever network or carrier you chose without being chained to AT&T. They are usually dual sim, which is really like having two phones for the price of one. And, you can remove the battery yourself with out having to run to the dealer every time the battery dies. In today’s scary economy, every little bit helps, so these things are very attractive to consumers.

But, if there was ever any draw back to the clones, it was that most models mandated you text on a finger touch screen. This works great for some people, but many are used to and prefer texting on raised keys. Luckily, there are a few models that allow this, offering clone features combined with a full keyboard and scroll bar.

Of these texting clones, the N99i (or Nokia N99i as it is sometimes called) is probably the most popular. It’s attractive, fast, user friendly, and sleek. Messaging on it is a nice, quick experience. Better yet, the manufacturers have added an analog TV and an awesome 3.0 MP camera to this phone.

There is one very popular clone with the “TV out” feature (the CECT A988). This means that you can hook the phone up to your television and watch video on the phone on a larger screen. The analog television on the N model is different because you are watching real time local television via antenna. The 988 is also not as finger friendly for messaging.

In addition to this, the Nokia N99i is a very feature rich mobile phone, which includes: a 3 inch, finger touch LCD screen and stylus; full MP3/MP4 capabilities; a very high quality 3.0 mega pixel digital camera and webcam; double Bluetooth; a voice recorder; fm radio; two sim slots; and expandable memory. You can transfer information between your computer and the phone through a USB cable. The phone does not require software and will read your GSM sim card. This one is a tri band.

This one is a very high performing model that you can usually get for under $150 if you know where to look. Considering the very high quality camera (most of the replicas have 1.3 or 2.0 mp cameras) and the analog television feature, this is very reasonable, even for a clone.

LH01 Mini HiPhone – The Finger Touch Interface Meets Shake and Tilt in This Smaller IPhone Clone

The term HiPhone has become synonymous with Chinese iPhone clones, almost in the same way that people use the term coke for any type of soda. Really though, the term HiPhone is more indicative of a finger touch interface which allows manipulating and editing with sliding your fingers. In essence, you use your fingers in the same way you would highlight and drag a mouse on a computer.

There have been several versions of the HiPhone including the very popular i32, the S688, the SciPhone, and now this mini version. All differ is some small way. For example, the SciPhone is quad band, while the S688 is one of the few that are single and not dual sim.

The LH01 differs in size, as it is quite a bit smaller than most of the popular knock offs. It weighs only 107 grams and measures 5.3 X 11.3 X 1.3 mm. It looks most like the i32 and has the same popular shake and tilt feature.

If you’re not familiar with shake and tilt, it’s one of the many features that make these replicas very intuitive, quick, and user friendly. When you want to advance songs or change media, you just shake the phone. No scrolling. Just shaking. When you want to change the image to wide screen mode, all you have to do is tilt it.

Another way that this mini iPhone clone is different from the i32 is that it has a stylus. There are only a few shake to the music clones with a stylus. The L01 also has updated software and added an FM radio.

I’ve found a couple people who don’t embrace this smaller size, because to them, having the largest screen possible is desirable, but for people who want a phone that can easily fit in even a small pocket, this one is a great option.

This mobile has all of the standard features you’ve come to expect from the imports, like: dual sim slots (with the ability to switch back and forth between them so that you can have two phone numbers and plans on one phone only if you want or need them); full MP3 and MP4 capabilities; web browsing, email, and texting (GPRS + WAP) plus (SMS, MMS, EMS, group send, and long text); FM radio; and a web cam.

Another way that this phone is smaller than others is its price. Averaging about $120 or less, the L series model is among the most inexpensive of the clones. In today’s economy, this cheap price, and the savings over a mandated carrier or network, really matters.

SciPhone I68 Mobile Phone – A Smaller Size, A Fast Performance And Java Are A Winning Combination

There’s no denying that the shake and tilt iPhone clones are a success. Consumers love being able to shake the phone to advance songs and media without having to fumble around and scroll. There’s other features to like too. The fact they are inexpensive and unlocked saves us a lot of money on phone costs and on AT&T or other expensive plans. Dual sim means that we can have two phone numbers on one phone so that we are always available.

There are many of these phones on the market right now. Examples are the HiPhone i32, the CECT A380i, A88, and the A8+.

The latest edition, the SciPhone (aka CECT i68), has all of the standard clone features, but it has added a few new ones. First, it’s thinner and smaller, which is why it’s sometimes called a “mini HiPhone.” It’s also added an E-book reader and an FM radio, but the addition that is getting the most attention is the latest version of Java.

Java enables all sorts of productivity and gaming software possibilities, including MSN, Office, and PowerPoint, to name only a few.

Now, if you can tear yourself away from the games (which is hard for me), you can read, edit, and email documents which makes this gadget a great mobile productivity tool as well.

This cell phone still has all of the smartphone specifications that you would expect, including: a generous 3.2 inch touch screen; dual sim slots; slide unlock; a 1.3 mega pixel camera which also serves as a webcam; Bluetooth 2.0; full MP3 / MP4 capabilities; web browsing, emailing and messaging via GPRS and WAP 2.0; and 2GB of memory.

Don’t let the small size of this mobile fool you. It’s super fast and it houses a slew of the latest features inside a tiny package. I love the E-book reader even though I thought I would never use it. When I am stuck waiting somewhere, it’s really easy to finally get around to reading the e-books I constantly down load but never read.

The SciPhone still has the loud Chinese speakers that we’ve been spoiled by. The 1.3 MP camera is actually pretty good. And since it starts at only about $150, you really can’t go wrong with this one.
